Mascokote Green Description : MASCOKOTE GREEN is a chemically reactive, non- petroleum, biodegradeable release agent for concrete forms which effectively prevents the bonding of concrete to steel, conditioned aluminum, plywood, composite forms, and formliners. MASCOKOTE GREEN is manufactured with organic chemicals which reacts with concrete to prevent adhesion and provide a quick, easy release. It contains no diesel, petroleum, kerosene, wax or silicones. Using canola as a base, this product is highly biodegradable under the CEC L.33 test protocol in 21 days and contains no harmful additives. MASCOKOTE GREEN is a thin amber liquid that remains fluid at subfreezing temperatures. Application : Forms should be free of dirt, hardened concrete, rust, scale, and other foreign matter. Release agent is ready to use direct from container. Apply a thin film using an atomizing or misting spray tip to maximize product performance and economy. Spray uniformly with cross spray to avoid pin holes and uncoated areas. Over application will not produce better results and may cause dusting. Puddles should be wiped up with rags prior to pouring concrete. Prior to coating plywood forms, apply one or two heavy brush coats to edges for waterproofing protection.
