In an effort to reduce the number of rigging changes required when these heavier panels are to be erected, SureBuilt has developed and tested a new, double insert lifting system for increased lifting capacity. This lifting system consists of two Ring Lift 22 Pro inserts, two Ring Lift lifting clutches and the SureBuilt spreader beam with twin 10 ton shackles. In order to develop safe working loads, Ring Lift 22 Pro inserts must be spaced by the panel contractor at 18 inches on center. A spacing of less than 18 inches will greatly reduce the lifting capacity of the system. After the tilt-up panel has been lifted into position and properly braced off, the two ground release hardware units are released from the panel in the very same manner used to release a single unit. Ground Release Spreader Beam With Twin Shackles The ground release spreader beam is supplied with the two 10 ton shackles and is required to attach the spreader beam to the Ring Lift 22 Pro Inserts. The use of this system will eliminate many of the rigging challenges resulting from projects with very large or extremely heavy panels. 20 ton shackle is recommended. The large center hole in the spreader beam will accept the many different sizes of lifting shackles that the tilt-up panel erector may elect to use.
